The fabrics which we offer to the Contract market have the maximum guarantee of safety. Aznar Textil FR fabrics are manufactured using synthetic FR fibres. The main property required in a flame retardant yarn is that it should be capable of preventing the rapid spread of flames or that the fabric should ignite.

Our FR fabrics are washable and will not lose their FR properties with washing.

Standards and verification test:

We subject our Fr fabrics to testing in independent laboratories in different countries to guarantee that they comply with the standards required. The processes of analysis and the apparatus used vary from one standard to another, and it is for this reason that some fabrics pass some tests and others don't.

The laboratories and apparatus which test the fabrics for their reaction to fire are designed to simulate a naked flame, or a source of ignition on the fabric.

All of the laboratories used by Aznar Textil for certification are authorised and independant.
